Today is valentine's day, and in the midst of hard work preparing for interviews for both of us, I want to take a minute to celebrate our relationship and what we've accomplished together. Between moving three times in the span of a year and a half, training Luna, recovering twice from a torn ACL, looking for new jobs, learning Dutch, we've done so much. Trying to list them all would be impossible. But that doesn't mean I can't point out a few favorites 😉
We moved three times in the span of a year and a half. At our place, we turned a concrete shell into a wonderful home, perfectly engineered for me, you, and Luna to all coexist, and feel spacious enough in 42m2.
When adversity hits, you don't give up. When you feel you're not where you need to be, you try, you build up your skills, you develop. You work hard to improve yourself.
I'm so excited to see what we do next. Soon you'll have a driving license, a job you love (and/or a hobby you feel accomplished in), and many more adventures.
There's no one I'd rather do it all with.
I feel happy with you. I have become a better person with you. You get me going in the morning and give me something to be excited for after a long day at work. I'm excited to build our life together.
